We haven't been around much, because we've been so busy. Lots of company, getting geared up for summer vacation, and I'm preparing to go back to work. I'm so not ready to!
Cooper is doing wonderful. Sunday, the 13th was not only his 3 month birthday, but also his official due date. Like Mark said, "he's not a negative anymore". Lol At his appointment last week he weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces.
Monday, Cooper has surgery to repair a hernia. It was very small, and an easy procedure. And, in usual Cooper fashion, he has come through it like a rock star. We had to spend the night in the hospital for observation. He is eating and sleeping well, and doesn't seem phased by it at all.
Just a few pictures:
We've also witnessed our first "real" smiles. BUT.... only for Skylor. She was playing "pattycake" with him and he loved it. So when we want to see that cute little crooked grin, we have to recruit Skylor. But she doesn't mind...
so cute! I love all the snuggly pictures!
ReplyDeleteOMG those smile pictures are so beautiful!! Always glad to hear that Cooper is doing well =)
ReplyDeleteHi there. I was on the bump with you and liked to follow Super Coopers story. I hadn't been reading much since my daughter was born still 2 months ago, but i once again found your blog today. I'm so glad everything is going wonderful for you guys!
ReplyDeleteThe real reason why I am commenting, is because someone pointed me to a website that has stuffed animals that are made by Aurora. Aurora is the name of my daughter who was born still. While I was looking at all the stuffed animals, I came across one named "Super Cooper".

It made me think of you and your son. I had to let you know.
Hi just checking in (as I do from time to time to see if anythings new) just wanted to say that I hope all is well! :)
